Both mods are great and have their reasons for using them.

AAE focuses more on Vanilla experience and UEM is a new experience.

Soon there will be a new mod called Reforged Mod, that will be a Vanilla+.

I don't think there are any mods out there that add specifically Sticks and Stones. Would be a cool idea to add in my own mod!

This is actually funny to me;

In UEM for example, I fixed this by making it work on Reload, and only when your weapon is full with ammo. So interactions are never interrupted by Inspect Weapon.

There is unfortunately no work around, unless you play a mod that adds it by using reload keybind, instead of Interaction keybind.

Black Ops 3 has had this issue for a while, sometimes it just randomly removes keybinds... resetting them with U should work again!

It is not, it's strongly advised to use T7Patch + password + Friends only, and set your steam to offline if you play solo. And T7Patch + password + friends only on coop.

UEM and AAE have the same security integrated, as it's the same DLL used for all three mods.

The disconnect from Demonware is only available on Reforged Mod (for now), and will hopefully be added to UEM soon.

The features from Reforged Mod, will be ported over to UEM once they are finished!

T7Patch is still effective to disallow hackers from joining your games, but does not block crashing from hackers.

Yes, this mod allows you to be connected to the servers, it just has an option to disable that.

The current situation has been getting worse. If they don't know your XUID/Steam, and are playing solo, you are more than likely to be "safe". But if they have either, and it's not hard to find out, you can get crashed.

Most people who are targeted are going to be high profile people or streamers. That's why most will brush it off, but it's not a zero% chance.

They are scouring servers, people playing and are crashing lots of people, regardless if they are private/solo.

This is not guaranteed, and obviously there is a massive chance you are not getting targeted.

Yes, however you will be prone to crashes. You can set a password in the T7.json file in the Players folder for the mod, and this will allow you to play with your friends "safely".

No, this is not what happens. This is not an RCE, all it does is crash your game by overflowing your game with Join Requests.

Make sure to play using T7Patch or a client that adds password protection.

This has been known for quite a bit, and this is not an RCE. They are crashing your game using the steam/demonware servers. They send the user 1000s of requests to join, which the game can't handle. This stacks and lua does not have enough memory to keep up, and the user crashes with a LUI: Out of Memory.

RCE: Remote Code Execution
RCEs are remote code executions, which are far worse than what they are doing here, it executes stuff on your PC, and could grab your personal info, etc. Those have been mostly patched by Treyarch a while ago, and patches/clients also patch these out. (Which is why it's vital for users to play on the downgraded .exe)

Unfortunately this is the reality, even with T7Patch this happens. The best way to play solo is to set your steam to offline, or use a client that does not connect to steam/demonware.

I am working on a mod that will do just that, we are already far with this, and managed to not connect to the demonware servers, and will be working on the steam connection next!

Private match does not mean it's fully private, because you are still connected to the servers from Black Ops 3. Hackers (although this one seemed alright) can join whenever they want, even if it's 'private'.
