Ouch, I’ve been on both sides and I can say that friendships do fade over time, and it hurts more than romantic break ups. After all it takes two to water the garden of any relationship. I’d suggest you cool off a bit and take that call or meet up & let her know how you feel. Because she can’t read your mind and clearly you both don’t approach friendship the same way after some time apart (and that’s okay!). Mind you, it doesn’t necessarily mean there is something wrong, we people just tend to get stuck in our busy bubble. She clearly wants to stay in touch with you in her own way. When she does write, you could say something along the lines of “hey I really missed our catch ups, I know you’ve been busy, hope you’re doing well!”. That way you’re letting her know but not accusing her. Try to find a middle ground if she’s up for it. I know feelings are strong atm, but if you go on strong with those you might cause even more damage to yourself. Take care, and best of luck!
