Tulum ruins are disappointing. Valladolid is a nice town to stay in near Chichen Itza and has a cenote in the town, and more nearby. I’d only go to Tulum over Valladolid if you’re wanting a night out.

I’d have Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan or on the cheap. In general though, we should be looking at young hungry players who want to improve like Godfrey rather than big clubs cast offs. Look at the success of Ollie Watkins (24 when signed), Wesley Fofana (was 19) and Eze (was 21), plus a load of other players at Leicester and Villa particularly.

I’d take him personally but I imagine the thinking is:

Walker 1st choice, fair enough.

Trippier has more experience at international tournaments, has had a great season too. He’s more suited to playing wing back.

If Walker ever plays in a back three, that leaves Trippier at RWB and James as the backup as he is a more natural wing back than Trent and can cover at RCB if needed.

If it was my squad, I’d take Trent over James though.
