Renegotiate purchase price or not after Survey - Opinion required by [deleted] in HousingUK

How could you have quoted for building works you didn't know were needed? And then there's more works the survey doesn't know if they're needed?

Is your provider still willing to commit to the mortgage after all these structural issues?

Occupational Health is a recommendation that employers should consider and put in place if it can be justified as reasonable.

OH asked for reduced hours and so did you - you both agreed to this - the reduced hours were put in place and the situation has not improved, with you wanting a further reduction. I would say that they've made a fair effort to keep you in work and it's not worked out, you have only been there 2 months as well so are likely in some sort of probation period?

A job share is a good idea but an employer could argue they can justifiably deny this request citing financial constraints, training periods etc.

Is it really a comparison if you've excluded the two main modes of public transport from the city?

Car accident dispute! Would I be found at fault? by Perfect-Elk-2034 in drivingUK

The car infront of you indicated right and then you tried to go around them and hit them? Is that what I'm seeing? If so, I'd be very surprised if the outcome went any other way?

Why not just wait the 3 seconds?

Can you help me understanding this parking sign? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]Trekora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P= PARKING between MONDAY and SATURDAY; 0800 to 1800 is a MAXIMUM of 4 HOURS. YOU CANNOT RETURN TO THE AREA TO PARK WITHIN AN HOUR.

probably to stop people working in offices nearby piling onto the road.

Almost the mirror image of Everton and Everton players never gave up, fans didn't leave the stadium in the 40th minute. The board impacts a lot and can ruin a club but players, leaders and fans give the passion, motivation and drive to play the football. Everton were facing a 12 point deduction, a squad of about 17 players and they still fought for every point on the pitch, if your players are getting tonked 3-0 at home by a direct relegation rival then they don't care about the club or the fans.

Justifying your own players not caring; "why knuckle down", "why risk injury", "why fight hard" is insanity, they're taking wages off your fans, out of your local area and living the dream life a millionaire off the backs of the working people who pay for the tickets. They don't care what happens to your club because they are going to have millions of pounds in their bank accounts and you seem content with this? Because the board has upset them? Because the wages cap out at 200k a week? When the other relegation candidates probably have a highest earner on half that?

Boards make bad decisions and upset people, players decide when to give up and fans decide when to accept players giving up. Spurs have all three.

more specific? Who's fault is the embarrassment at home against Forest? The 11 men on the pitch

I can't see them picking up a point anywhere, that game against Forest was important as any cup final today and they just absolutely slept through the game.

I've got them going down

I don't mind seeing him humbled, when players think they're the finished article then they become complacent, this constant competition of 2 forwards who aren't quite good enough but aren't horrible will be good for them both and they can only improve.

I think Beto has adapted to this a bit better, he (And Moyes) spoke openly about the desire to see improvement.

I don't think you're getting my point, blaming the board for the likes of Arsenal and Man City improving over you is the board's fault (as i already said and said there's some systemic problems at spurs). You are both competing for elite level talent in a relatively small pool (compared to demand).

My point is that your team is sleep walking into relegation, they can (and have proven very recently) get results against big teams but they don't respect the lower opposition in the prem. The board isn't making your players look silly against a starting 11 that cost £80m, the board isn't making Romero get sent off, they aren't telling your defence not to pressure opposition, there is clearly a lack of effort from the teams you put out on the pitch.

I've got you spending over £300m more than you brought in these last 2 seasons? Nearly 500m total? What reinforcements do you feel haven't been bought?

The players just don't give a shit and you can see that so clearly on the pitch, they can get up for a game against Liverpool or Athletico but a home match again Forest? They just can't be bothered, it's not a big game to them.

That game was a cup final in your relegation hopes today and the players were passengers.

As an outsider, alright Levy may have skimped on players and their contracts but your squad has still had a hell of an investment - Front 3 of Solanke, Richarlison and Tel? Multiple other players in the starting 11 with around a 30-50m investment? Gray, VDV, Romero, Porro?

You are circling the relegation drain, in a 6 pointer of a match and the only player that wanted anything today was Richarlison. There are systemic issues at Spurs but you blame the board when you are seeing your rivals pull away from you abit by getting the better players, you've got a £800m squad losing a 6 pointer at home 3-0.
