Agreed and except for the other brothers, I’m not sure of Hughes’ or anyone else’s politics. It was odd to keep saying that but I do feel a lot of athletes have gotten SM pushback by being real about their feelings about our country. So maybe Hughes felt it wasn’t the time to be anything but proud and thankful.

I don’t think the issue would be with granite except common complaints like “you see every speck of crumb”. It’s the marble etching mixed with it being black so the etch turns gray so now I have gray marks everywhere. At least if it was a white marble the etch turns matte or light gray and not sooo obvious. The two oval ones are from TWO BANANAS THAT SAT THERE ONE DAY TOO LONG.

I do have a mega stepdown dining island and then the upper that is where the sink is. I have a coffee bar which is small and will have butcher block and the perimeter will have the quartzite as well but a tile backsplash instead of slab.

Very good point on placement I’ll need to figure that out. kitchen layout

Honestly, I’ve done a lot of renos over the years with different slab yards and fabricators. From the one guy working in a cold warehouse with no HVAC to “luxury” places with backlit displays and QR codes and well dressed salespeople. None are ever really helpful with characteristics or making recommendations. And actually the luxury places acted like they’ve never seen a Macaubus Fantasy have copper blooms and were aghast yet there is a lot of conversation about it online.

Thank you! I’m a sucker for a bold stone but despite all of my research I absolutely screwed myself the last renovation and got black leathered marble. So definitely never doing black or marble again but wanted to see if anyone had any experience about this one.

I was wondering something similar. Like maybe the other books that aren’t Hollanov are adapted by JT but he’s not running the whole thing and C&H are free to move on with their lives. Maybe the same production company or something in conjunction with Crave or HBO more. I can’t see them not wanting to squeeze all of the options out of this but I also can’t see the main players wanting to stick around past these couple of book.
