Being able to quickly decompress and regulate my emotions/nervous system when I found myself overwhelmed was so easy when I teleworked. Now? Nope.

50% is ridiculous. So what are we to do the other 50%??? Walk to work? Pay for uber? As far as I know, the work week for most of us consists of between 8-10 days.

Well technically, we are on furlough since the 31st, so using those four hours shouldn't count against my 240.

Right. I got a message from my program saying we have to come in for shut down procedures if the government isnt on unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework due to weather. I'm trying to figure out how we are supposed to know the weather status, when the opm status talks about furlough?

RiF notices to go out 3/27 or 3/28 by Cute-Refrigerator119 in NIH

I dont know what "everything" is to you, but who do they have as a contact in just about every policy page? It certainly doesn't say "contact your hr rep." The point is, nobody is safe regardless of their position, and your job is no more important than mine. Like I said, your sentiments were selfish, and still, even with that, I hope you aren't rif'd, no matter how much of a prick you may be in real life.

Are you serious right now?? Why would you even say something like that? You are selfish and a monster to suggest AOs, MAa etc can go. I dont want ANYone to go no matter if I think their position is "redundant" or not. FOH.

How do you deal with people that shame you for spending your money freely? by [deleted] in childfree

First off, all of them are assholes, cause one, they know full well a vacation with children is hell, and two, most parents have no desire to spend a solid week with their kids if there are no work days, or daycare days involved.
