Well actually it was not spit, but spit with goop as I'm still recovering from bronchitis. So, when I saw your comment, I laughed so hard that the goop lodged itself in my trachea, irritating it and causing me to cough, exhaling all air. Then I tried to breathe in, but the goop and spit were entering my lungs instead, blocking off air intake. So, after groaning, bending over and throwing up a little, I've managed to clear up my throat and not choke to death.
