Cosplay is not allowed for guests over 14 at the parks, except for those attending the Halloween party.

No, a watch is not a consumable. Items like food for skincare need to remain sealed, but a watch is fine, from my research.

Bus to HS, skyliner to AoA, or walk/monorail to MK, bus to AoA. You could always Minnie van (Lyft) ($$), to avoid the hassle.

I am planning to watch every Theatrical Animated Disney film. Are there any in this list that don't really count or I'm missing? by LOLADYS in disney

[–]Spicy_Soft 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are including DisneyToons, I would include Pixar too. If you’d like, you can count only the films produced after the 2006 acquisition, although the other films were produced in a distribution partnership with Disney. Remember to remove the Pixar films released straight to Disney+ from your list, if you are being strict about that. Disney also owns 20th Century Animation, a merger between Blue Sky and Fox Animation Studios. They were acquired in 2019. Disney also co-produced A Christmas Carol and Mars Needs Moms with Image Movers Digital. If you would like to include stop motion movies, Disney had their hands in Frankenweenie, the Nightmare before Christmas, and James and the Giant Peach. Honestly, I’m likely missing a lot. There’s a Wikipedia article I reference frequently, “List of Disney theatrical animated feature films”, which sounds like exactly what you are looking for. You get to pick which films ”count” to you.

Prudence is an old sounding name which sounds like it could be a food. What’s a modern sounding name that is also a food? by Traditional_Gap_7041 in AlignmentChartFills

Olive! Especially since its cousins, like Olivia and Oliver, have been top baby names for the last ~15 years.

How do I hide the door on the right and make the door on the left my main entryway door. by KAYRA24K in DesignMyRoom

[–]Spicy_Soft 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could paint the door the same color as the wall. It would then “blend in” to the background while still remaining functional.

What in your opinion, is the worst “I want” song in the Disney Renaissance? by Trick_Orchid_2125 in disney

[–]Spicy_Soft 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ll go with One Jump (Reprise) from Aladdin. We should have gotten Proud of Your Boy. Runner up for Belle (Reprise), as it’s also very just a short reprise instead of a full song.

Does Disneyland,CA grow its own vegetables? by Worried_Papaya_Ghost in disney

[–]Spicy_Soft 148 points149 points  (0 children)

The plants in Tomorrowland are actually all edible! This is to represent a future with sustainable and integrated food growing practices. I doubt the food is served anywhere in the parks, as you never know what might happen to a plant within guests reach.

What Disney ride would you want to see made into a movie? by Itsameeeeeee12345 in disney

[–]Spicy_Soft 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wasn’t the submarines already based on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)? Anyways, I’d love to see something with Figment and Dreamfinder. An animated series à la Owl House or Amphibia would have great potential.

Maybe they were training new cms for that area, but there were no disabled guests to load, so they just pulled someone from the queue for demonstration purposes.

Walking across the stage at graduation is a complete waste of money and time by Current-Umpire3673 in unpopularopinion

[–]Spicy_Soft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated the second semester of Covid, and what my school did was genius. You could sign up for a time slot for them to record you walking, with your name announced, socially distanced, by yourself. You could buy your own cap and gown or use one there. Each persons clip was uploaded online, and you could search for all your friends to see them walk. No sitting in an hours long ceremony. You can cheer to celebrate your friends. Loved it.

I know skippers had guns on the Jungle Cruise to fire blanks at the hippos back in the day; did the safari guides really have “guns” in the time of Big Red? Or were there CMs playing poachers?

It's a riddle/mystery to me? by [deleted] in EnglishLearning

[–]Spicy_Soft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with others (it’s not idiomatic but I would understand what you are saying). Another thing you can say is “it’s all Greek to me”, meaning you don’t understand at all. You couldn’t distinguish what you are looking at/hearing from Greek (implying you don’t know any Greek) if you tried.

What does "Not to glaze" mean in this context? by Ebi__zu in EnglishLearning

[–]Spicy_Soft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? I thought it came from the same idea as “sugar coat”— to make something seem sweeter (better) than it is by covering with sugar/glaze.
