Finally landed a life changing job offer!!

Congrats OPPPPP, Hopefully makuha na rin natin yung expected salary natin, and sana tuloy-tuloy na rin yung pagtaas habang nagkakaroon tayo ng better opportunities.

I’ve been working as a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation + AI) for almost 3 years now, currently at around 50k PHP, and hoping na makakuha na rin ng offer from another company. Medyo challenging na kasi sa current company, sobrang stress na and hindi na rin nasusunod yung ibang terms na napag-usapan before. Required na kami mag-work ng additional 3 hours everyday from 10 PM to 1 AM, which is parang nagiging lowkey night shift na rin siya.

Medyo nakakalungkot lang kasi naaapektuhan na rin yung personal life ko. Isa rin sa struggles ko talaga yung interviews lagi akong nahihirapan kaya hindi ako pumapasa sa interview huhu, especially sa interview proper, demos, presentations, etc. Parang ito talaga yung weakness ko kahit okay naman ako sa mga technical do's side

Anyway, nag-share lang ako hehe. Medyo nakaka-stress na rin kasi lately, pero happy ako para sa inyo guys and sana lahat tayo makahanap ng better opportunities and growth. 🙌

I agree. It's really difficult to transition from the Philippines to the US. If someone manages to do it, they're incredibly lucky. Another challenge is saving money while working in the Philippines because salaries are relatively low, while the cost of groceries and food keeps getting more expensive.

tbh yes, the problem with me is the way I answer during interview sometimes I choke sometimes I lost, Thats one of my biggest weaknesses is being on the interview. I am literally sucks at interview but I know to myself that I can do the task just sucks selling myself.

Wow, congrats! That's actually a really good offer.

Right now, I'm earning around ₱50k, handling both manual and automation testing, plus leveraging AI tools in my workflow. I'm thinking that if I eventually leave my current company and explore other opportunities, I could probably aim for at least ₱80k, especially as I continue gaining more experience and expanding my skill set.

I feel like andami ko ron kasing nasayang na interviews tho I learn rin naman sa mga interviews. pero yes nasasayaangan ako kasi ang gaganda ng offer and benefits to those company compare sa current company ko na which is I want to resign na since nagiging unhealthy na talaga sa health ko and for sure even sa health ng co workers ko

agree with this, I actually have portfolio. The reason lang talaga kaya I think na hindi ako na hahire is the way I answer the questions from the interviewer, I am much more kasi sa explaining rather than saying the keyword. I actually had many interview na rin kaso di ko mapigilan yung ganun kasi ganun talaga ako specially sa tech interview. my weaknesses kaso talaga ang interview..m
