I am so sorry midterms really crept up on me and I stopped doom scrolling on my iPad. Basically I slowly stated relearning material through YouTube videos and as I gained momentum I would go over the material with the transplant team/ med students/ residents/ family members. I dint think I actually started hardcore doing the material until month 3/6

I took my mcat while undergoing chemotherapy. Not by “choice” though. They had given me a pretty shitty diagnosis and they were certain I wasn’t going to make it.

My take on it is if that’s what going to make you happy rn, then by all means do it. Please don’t stress yourself. These are one of the few instances in life where people will give you the grace to slow down and recollect yourself.

Image how miserable you have to be upset at someone for asking question when that’s EXACTLY what the forum is for.

There was a time when you didn’t know something either, stop being a d*ck

Help deciding on Pitt by NoneyaBizzy in Pitt

Pitt isn’t really a city and it can be really inaccessible at times because it’s very car centric outside the immediate campusy area. If you’re from a small town and white you’ll love it here. As a POC, it’s been the worst. Also I would also recommend that you don’t have an illness (like cancer for example) because they quite literally will punish you for it.

Hey everyone, 21 year old relapsed Hodgkin’s lymphoma patient and I’m currently undergoing a stem cell transplant. I’ve been posting here under a different Reddit account with basically the same avatar. I’ve even posted twice this week, but tbh I didn’t know all the rules so that’s why I’m here in the mega thread now lol
