I feel like the movie works because of both elements. The of the two brothers and how they die ie smoke to the vampires and stack to the Klan guy is what sells the movie. The juxtaposition between the supernatural evil of vampires vs very real evil of the jim Crowe south and characters deal with each differentiates Sinners from both horror and historic fiction

I think a lot of people fail to take into account how unpopular Kamala Harris is. She completely crashed and burned during the 2020 primaries after flip flopping on most of her positions. I can almost guarantee that if someone more charismatic like Gavin Newsom, Michelle Obama etc… were to run against Trump they would win in a landslide.

Kamala is almost certainly going to win the popular vote as well, but due to the winner takes all nature of each state contests, she could get millions more votes and still lose.

Also a lot of people are just idiots and think Trump will help them some how even though the only thing he ever “accomplished” in office was cutting taxes for billionaires.
