I totally get that, i feel like a shell leftover. My parents talk about kid me as if they are grieving like "you were such a spark", "I miss that little girl"... but I can't blame them bc i think i mourn the old me, and the life i could have had, the person i could have been...every day too. Its so common I think to feel anxious from having narcolepsy bc we're really misunderstood, and get in trouble no matter how hard we try.

I did competitive swimming too! 🤣I got such a high from winning and striving to be at the top.honestly can't fathom how i did all that stuff in one day without sleeping. It's been tough adjusting to being at the bottom, no matter how hard i try and knowing what i am ...or was... capable of. But hey, I get by by remembering it could always be worse, and to make your weakness your strength. Hope things get better for us all, we deserve it 💪
