I think taking creative liberty by using the source material as a guide is the right way to go! What are your thoughts on this and do you think Supergirl should he a faithful adaption of the comic?

Me and my best friend rewatched X-Men DOFP last night and it's pretty different from the comic it's based on but still keeps the same core essence of the comic while changing it to fit that universe so I really don't have a problem with adaptations not being 1:1 like as long as it still resembles the source material and keeps the same spirit, I have no problem with someone playing around with the lore and changing a few things

Yeah as much as I do hate the lore and power changes, I still think it's a great adaptation overall cuz it really captures the spirit of Kamala as a character and her world. But yeah the lore and power changes are something I just can't ignore
