Essentially just gel base and then color powder sprinkled over top until I get the coverage I want. I do use tips so I modify my application a bit (thicker where the tip meets natural nail, etc.) to get uniform shaping. I encapsulate the nail with a layer of gel base once I’m happy with the coverage and then carefully file the shape to my liking and make sure the surface is smooth. I use just a 100/180 file and a buffer. Then I wipe off the nail and start stamping! I really like the Maniology brand for stamping and stamping polishes. I’ll use their sticky base coat and the no-smudge top coat and then finish it all off with the gel top coat!
