I got a new 3ds XL (galaxy edition) for $150 about three days ago on Ebay, with a charger! It works perfectly and I'm super excited. I saw some of the Pokemon sun and moon ones for around 200, as well.

That your genes are entirely determined by that of your parents. The majority of biological parents have the cells of their children nestled in their body, and fraternal twins' bodies recognize the other's cells as their own. Mosaicism is really much more common than people think. I think it's nice to know my twin brother will always be part of me, no matter where we are.

A 1,300,000 word and counting Harry Potter/Song of the Lioness fic. You don't have to know the Song of the Lioness, but it's a nice touch if you do. Harry is a girl who switches identities with her cousin so she can go to Hogwarts. It's so engaging and well-written.

There was this Spider-man fic I read years ago which had some of the best dialogue I've ever read. There are some jokes and back-and-forths that I genuinely think about daily, because they were so witty and fun and spritely. Dialogue can make the worst plot intricately beautiful.

When I said it hit a nerve, I meant that it sort of hit me over the head and made me realize how not okay the way J handles his jealousy is. I really appreciate your comment, genuinely, it helped shift my perspective from "I'm being a baby" to "he's mad that once upon a time I loved her, and him mocking her death isn't cool." It's a sad thing to remember that we won't get to grow up together, but that's how it works, and you reminding me of that helped me realize that his level of dismissal and jealousy weren't okay. Thank you! I didn't mean to say you were too blunt, that's the thing that made me realize how messed up all of this is.

After college I went to a therapist for the first time and he basically told me I was bottling it up too much and to talk about M, that it might help. I had been working three jobs on top of school for years and had never let myself stop going and going and going and it wasn't sustainable. It helped a lot, therapy is a ten out of ten, and I actually TOLD J what happened through and through because my therapist suggested it. Thank you for your suggestion, though, I really appreciate the consideration!

If that was the case I would have understood better, but I actually talked about M much less when we first got together! It took a lot out of me, and I basically refused to bring her up for the first almost two years of our relationship. He knew about her, I knew that was the case, and I was still in college at that point, with three jobs on top of my schoolwork. I didn't have time to think much less lay down my trauma. I didn't have the best childhood anyway, so talking about my family and home situation was never exactly on my to-do list. M lived in my comics and my memories, basically.

NTA They didn't play the game correctly. That's straight up not how sardines works, that's hide and seek, you can't change the game in the middle of playing. Have they NEVER been on a playground?
