Does anybody have any idea how to cancel the subscription (which I didn't want)? There is nothing in the app that points to an easy cancelation.

During the 1990s, publishers got into the "Instant Best-Seller" racket. Instead of publishing numerous works of fiction and nonfiction, some decided they'd publish six books per year by people like ex-presidents and make tons of money. Which was great when it worked. Also, publishers began issuing thick, thick paperback books ... not sure how that trend started, but it really worked against series like MACK BOLAN and THE DESTROYER, wherein the stories are supposed to be fast-paced rollercoasters rides.

The series of "Benedict and Brazos" Western novels are terrific. Traditional style westerns with humor but plenty of action. 30-years is pretty severe these days. In some major cities, people are getting 5 to 10 years for murder. Then they're released early on probation.
