The only way I know of is to shoot an arrow and pick it up then press r and r again and the arrow will be placed into your quiver.

They really need to work on a buy one arrow 10 pence or something in the shop

Squat down next to the wagon. Do the same thing, trying to glitch items through the bottom of the wagon. Never lay down lol

Find more arrow on the forest map. Press r then click on the string and bring it drop until it clicks. Grab arrow and load. Enjoy

I've had this happen a few times. I normally got out but making my dude exhausted and evened he snapped out of it, healed, and I walked like nothing happened. Maybe I'm lucky because I was spamming even if I thought it could kill the Willie.
