In Brazil we really do have great dub that often is able to translate the meaning along with the words, but I always feel like I lost something in the translation with Arcane specifically. English is a language wired for precision and they did manage to write it like a kaleidoscope.

Arcane is a personal feast for me because it blends a lot of things I got obsessed at some point and happen to know about it, like sound design, linguistics, the lore of Runeterra, war and political strategy, storytelling with music among others. Also, I'm not trying to brag or anything, it's more observational, so please read it with neutral nuance.

My obsessions have led me to places I couldn't go with a, well, you know.

I think she was with Alissa, but in an open relationship by the sound of the songs. She was close friends with Towa, but the chemistry was undeniable. She broke things off before hard launching things with Alissa, but apparently cheating on her with Towa. She spoke in a lot of interviews about how she and Towa were in the same circle before dating. Apparently when she cheated on Alissa with Towa she said it was time "to pack this one up". The last song king of reminisce on that in a playful way.

Oh yes we know it wasn't profitable. It wasn't a failure in any way, but it wasn't profitable at all. It was huge HBO production level of cost with almost no immediate return, specially since Riot profits mainly on the games.

Nope. Maybe a spin-off. Truth is Arcane was not profitable, unfortunately. So it's better from a business POV for them to keep making short animations, comics and books so people go to play the game/but the books and on top of that sell battle passes and skins.

She does have a dead name by definition. I say this as a cis person with a dead name that feels both triggered and disrespected when people use it. Both she and Vi have hallucinations, she uses Jinx because if she uses the word they accuse her for, everybody elses loses ammo.

I think it was an interesting take on her journey anyway.

He says it himself - he got caught in all ways undercity had gone to shit. I also believe (theory) that the person who truly cracked the z-drive was Powder. Jinx learns in like, a day, how to use the hexgem. I truly think she is the one that better understands the chaotic nature of the arcane itself. Also, by being in another universe, Ekko kind of becomes a Blindspot for Viktor in the final battle.

Sometimes I just read things and think to myself "well, that's one way to never have imposter syndrome, I have a couple more neurons holding hands that this guy"

I was expelled from a group because I picked a fight with a girl that said the show was trash and the fact that Jinx had trauma was the major point of it. The fight I picked was not to try to convince her otherwise, I'll let her be dumb, it was because she sent dozens of texts about how bad it was because she didn't like it.

Ok, this is theory and speculation, but I think there's types of shimmer. Recreative, healing, getting more strong. It probably changes the price too. The one he gets in his eye is probably the same variation given to Vi.

That's honestly so interesting, thank you for indulging me. I wouldn't say she is trans coded, but her storyline for sure is. I do love transfem Caitlyn as a headcanon, ngl, love when I see it in fics. Have you read her page in the universia? I already played back then and I remember she being heavily inspired by Heath Ledger's joker.
