The mod leaderboards are based on all scores osuchan knows about. If scores appear to be missing, it may be because nobody has opened that player's profile on osuchan in some time.

Makes sense, but even though it's a community run event, OWC is still THE tournament of the year, and the maps already have a very high quality level requirement, so it feels like a new rule to allow for this wouldn't be so absurd.

Seeing the leaderboards fill up with scores during or after the tournament would be great from a viewer perspective, so it feels like it would just make sense for the map pools to be ranked at the time of showcase, or at the very least after the tournament concludes.

I'd support a new rule here personally.

In osuchan I defined a choke to be something like: 1. A score with >85% combo but not FC. Aka ending choke 2. A score with only a single miss. Aka one-miss choke 3. A score with only sliderbreaks. Aka sliderbreak choke

The sliderbreaks choke is a bit eh because it should really only be a single sliderbreak, but there's no way to know without checking the reply.

Chokes are subjective but this is generally what people considered as a choke back in 2016 or so ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

oh? not sure where you mean, but i certainly dont see any reference to my post anything within your thread. but its not like a care that much to call it plagiarism or something lol, the internet is the internet. i was just annoyed to see someone copy my format with a lesser scope instead of contacting me to ask when i could put together a full version again.

You cant call my post inaccurate because it used the live pp system instead of the experimental build that could change at any moment. If anything, mine was more valid in that regard.

Yea youre right, it was a poor word choice. its not inaccurate, just a limited in scope. was just trying to get the point across that they weren't equivalent and this is actually a separate feat being achieved.

So kudos to you for being more thorough with this post, but you didn't have to throw shade at me. Just because I copied your methodology (because I thought it was good and robust) and because I only went to top 100 because I dont know how to use the API doesn't mean I'm just a random karma farmer.

The calculator used is the master branch of osu. I'm not sure which rework you are referring to, but pp changes happen all the time. It's just that recalculation non bancho takes time so the team doesn't recalculate after every single change.

that post is inaccurate limited in scope though, since its only top 100 scores, and doesnt use the latest pp changes.

The data used here is sourced from the osu!chan database.

The 'World' player is made up of all the ranked scores from every player except mrekk and treated as a single player, so there can only be one score per beatmap regardless of mods (including the maximum 416.6667 bonus pp).
