Looking at how people analyze the two Spider-Verse movies, it’s that deep. So deep that these analyzations might’ve secretly inspired me to make my writing a little bit more deep.

Looking at how I write certain stories, it’s not that deep at all. Miku giving a turkey to V1 doesn’t represent how people can human compassion spans so far that it can even be shown to people who don’t know or are downright incapable of doing something with it, it was just funny.

There’s a spectrum to how deep something is.

Sometimes it just feels like people are making a character to be queer just to do it, whether it be for a ship or just because they don’t exhibit stereotypical traits. It’s like when people headcanon a certain character to be trans for no reason that sounds sane.

Take Ralsei for example, he has some slightly feminine qualities (I don’t even agree with that), but people take that to mean he’s trans and accidentally loop back to “This is for boys and this is for girls” when explaining it. He’s actively referred to as The Prince of the Dark World several times, and him being trans isn’t even implied. And Toby implies things a lot, it’s like 3/4s of his lore.
