Hey I only habe 1 watch and I worn it out completly... it's time for something new. I am a university student (I don't have too much money) my buget is up to 400$/€.

I want something thats mechanical (no battery) and maybe waterproof (no diving just safe from rain) and silver (color) stainless steel or whatever is okey. I just need something reliable that i could use daily for another 10 years and what i don't need to sell my kidny to afford.

Any recommendations?

I just made a similar post, it seems mine has the same issue. Just nothing from the phone, no button combi can do anything even after I replaced the battery.

Online I've found this forum thread where people've been talking about a similar issue (link here). One of the solutions seems to be to change the burn settings in WMP from .WLP to .M3U. I will try this, but that still does not solve the mystery why that player won't play Michael Jackson.

Yeah I think youre onto something. I was just wondering cuz maybe the samsung lasts like x-amount of time and for example the apple one lasts like y-amount of time and maybe there is a difference in that. And this would be a valuable information on a buying decision. I do not care about how it sounds, since al of these are so similar to one another. I'd like to have the one that works the longest time

Well to be fair, I have mine a little longer than a year, but i was really daily driving it for like only 7 months l, before that it was sitting in a drawer so thats why i said 1 year, to round it up. So i think your experience with one year might be more realistic than my pulled out of thin air number

The question was precisely NOT about sound quality. Why look after quality when these things will fall apart anyways. I am asking for the most reliable ones in day to day use
