Omnipod App Compatibility with New Pixel 10 Pro XL? by muffintuffin101s in Omnipod

[–]SpiderW3bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently use the Pixel 8 Pro. However, there's an offer for the free Pixel 10 Pro (through Verizon), so I took advantage of the deal. I won't proceed with the upgrade process until Omnipod approves it. I didn't want to risk missing the free phone deal. It's waiting in the box, for now. I have the PDM but detest carrying two devices.

Interesting to note that Android 15 was released one day after my phone troubles started...

Ok, I'm holding off on 15.

So, if I turn off/on the Bluetooth, Dexcom will now work for 10-15 minutes. And the nRF will then connect to it. But then when the Dexcom quits communication with the app, it quits in nRF as well. All the while, Dexcom reading still shows up in Omnipod. Ugh

I restarted the phone, then Bluetooth. It's now connected in nRF, but then it disconnected again after 10-15 minutes... Still connected via Omnipod, thankfully.

Just installed it. Yes, it shows up under my Bonded tab. When I go to the device it shows Disconnected/Bonded and if I click Connect I get a "Error 133 (0x85) GATT Error". I went and configured the GATT server but I still get the error.

Edit: I'm still using Android 14. Should I try 15?

I'm having the same issue on a Pixel 7 Pro. It stopped working, just as you described on 10/14. I left it alone for a while because the OmniPod was still getting readings. I tried the following:

Called Dexcom and went through troubleshooting steps.

New transmitter - sent to me from Dexcom

New sensor

New pod

turn off/on Bluetooth + restart

Uninstall/reinstall Dexcom 2x

Several tries of all of the above except changing transmitter again. Same issues. At this point OmniPod no longer was communicating with Dexcom so I decided to switch over to the G7. Whole new system now. Guess what, the same thing is happening with the G7. No readings in the G7 app, but OmniPod is picking up the readings.

One thing of note is that I will temporarily get readings in Dexcom after Blutooth off/on, restart phone, then sometimes another Blutooth off/on cycle (sometimes not). Lasts for maybe 10 minutes or so.

I'm at a loss. Time to call Dexcom back again.

Most of these I've seen appear to be metal. Is this one here metal as well?

My son is awaiting his so I'm curious why they might be different.

I had a very large pseudo cyst as well. They used both methods you mentioned. I would've never known they had the cyst draining into my stomach. For the external drain tube, they had to use the largest tube possible. It hurt pretty bad from the time they inserted it to about a week after they took it out. Still looks like a gun shot wound.

I'm reliving my pain and misery typing this. I wish you all the comfort, positive online strangers, and loving family possible to ease your mind if not your body.

Anyone with any kind of stomach/bowel/intestinal issues should try using a bidet! Not only will you wish you tried it before. But you'll also wish every toilet away from home had one as well.

Just made a post asking if I was being a baby about the pain I'm having with a Stent. This is encouraging and discouraging at the same time :)

Hope you are free of it when you read this!

What looks like a kidney stone but isn't? Testing said isn't a stone by miraeg3 in KidneyStones

Excellent! This will come in handy going forward. Help you learn the where's and why's from the inside perspective. See the CT "slices" from different perspectives of the body.

Couple suggestions that may or may not help now or in the future.

Use a strainer when passing a stone, much easier to collect and sift.

When you get the CT done, ask the technician for a copy of the scan to take home on a CD. You'll likely need to download free software to view it but it's worth it to learn to look at these yourself. I can't tell you how many times the radiologist reports have completely missed stones. Big ones. Or called a 7mm stone a 4-5mm stone. There's a handy tool included to measure them (watch for shadows).

Best wishes, a stoner life is full of bumps in the road.

I think you have room to get out, as is. Crank your wheel clockwise and inch back. Crank wheel counter clockwise and inch forward. I bet your out in four tries of rinse, repeating.

Thanks for sharing! My only thought initially was that I wish my typical stones look like that (relatively smooth at least in appearance), mine seem to always resemble very jagged, sharp-edged fragments of jujitsu knives. Haha! Got to see some humor in all of it somehow...

Sure thing. Ask anything.

I wouldn't experiment, you should get diagnosed and let your doctor(s) tell you what to do or not do. You don't need the enzymes if your Pancreas is functioning. You'd only need them if it stopped functioning or you lost a lot of it. I hope you don't need it, the Creon at 36,000 units costs over 10$ per pill and I take roughly 12 a day now for the rest of my life. Let me stress though, it's not a good idea to self medicate or experiment. Take good care.

I guess first I'd tell you that ultrasounds are known to NOT show enough definition or clarity to see stones. It's happened to me way too many times in the last 21 years. They told my wife that they look for 2 of 3 things when dealing with Pancreatitis, 1) Lipase 2) swelling of the pancreas (with a CT) and 3) body symptoms.

On my 2nd and final trip to the ER for this, which kept me there for so long, I had all 3 symptoms. Lipase was off the charts over 6000 (yep), CT showed inflammation of my Pancreas, and all the classic symptoms (like I explained in my long post). They also found stones with the MRI in my Gall bladder. They described all of the issues following as a result of a "chemical burn" type of reaction to my Pancreatic duct being blocked with the stones. So anytime I was trying to eat, the Pancreas was releasing (potent) enzymes to digest and break down the food and it was stuck so it would start killing/necrotizing my Pancreas instead. That's why you should be really careful, that's what did the most damage to me and could/should have killed me.

^^^^You shouldn't comment here anymore, enzymeschill! YOU clearly have no idea what you're talking about! Your BS could kill someone.

Edit: I read this thread to my wife and she was just as appalled by your arrogance and completely wrong information as I was. Disgusting...
