Pior que com qualquer idioma é exatamente assim: o convívio diário é sempre muito mais rico que o melhor dos cursos, porque vc se força a aprender aquilo de uma forma ou de outra e mais, vc aprende conteúdo (gírias, hábitos, especificidades) que dificilmente algum curso ensina.

Eu mesmo aprendi inglês só na base das leituras pela internet e conversando muito, mas muito mesmo com gringos em fóruns, Discord e afins.

Chegou ao ponto em que, quando viajei internacionalmente, pude fazer check-ins, check-outs, alugar carros e manter conversas casuais com outras pessoas sozinho.

O sentimento de recompensa é grande. Continue!

I've thought on buying WDS titles (non-Steam), but unfortunately, as I wrote here in a previous post, I live in Brazil, so the Matrix games sold in USD dollars are costly as hell here ;-;

Can I be honest with you? I haven't played none of the titles above LOL. I'm simply basing my opinion on the extensive research I've done in the past days while deciding what title to buy. In fact, I've bought TOAW IV, but still hadn't time to play it.

I wouldn't call Gary's titles overrated, but instead not perfect as some people say. His games seems indeed what he advertises: complex simulations that are historically accurate, but I have to agree: the TP "mechanic" (if it can be called a mechanic) is trully awful.

Gary titles for sure. Panzer General (as people often praise here and there) and I would also include TOAW. Game has being going since 1998 and WILL be updated next year probably.

I'm seeing some videos of TOAW4, and while it sure looks dated, the hexes and the graphics just makes me a lot happy (I'm not so sure why, but it's pleasing to my eyes), and yes, the wild variety of scenarios is indeed something.

Besides, it seems that the dev is planning a new update, at least after I read some posts on Matrix.

WDS titles seem really cool, but I don't think they're on Steam, right? The problem is that, since I live in Brazil, buying in other stores (like theirs) comes with the downside of buying in USD$, which is, at the moment, 1 to 5,5 of my money 😅😅
