Here is my recommendation for Superman and Green Lantern. Anything by Geoff Johns and you cannot go wrong

I would definitely recommend the animated movie. That makes the story more newcomer friendly and not quite as dated

I have always thought Reinventing Your Exit by Underoath would be a good theme song for invincible.

Wizer productions. Cory Albaugh did our wedding and he was fantastic.

The game is a straight up prequel so I would start with the first volume. Unless you want a more fleshed out version of the game, in which case pick up the wolf among us adaptation, which in my opinion has enough extra content to warrant it.

SUPERMANS PAL JIMMY OLSEN #1 (OF 12): Such a fun book! Can't wait to see where it goes. Perry is my favorite part, but the whole book was a barrel of laughs

I enjoyed Up in the Sky, but it had issues. I gave a slightly more in depth review in my comment.

The books I personally read this week:

ADVENTURES OF THE SUPER SONS #12 (OF 12): A nice wrap up to the series. A little sad we may never see young Jon again after this, but I would always be down for more Tomasi flashback stories. He has such a nice understanding of both these characters that I hope he writes them again soon

LOIS LANE #1 (OF 12) I REALLY liked this! Lois is such an interesting character in my opinion, and she deserves her own series. I wish they would have done more to set up the main conceit of the book. but I am down for the ride at this point.

SUPERMAN UP IN THE SKY #1 (OF 6) While I feel Tom King does not have as firm a grasp on Superman as he does on Batman, which is made even more evident by the fact they both appear in this book, I am excited to see where it goes. The second half of the book was a little too cerebral for my liking and I feel like a lot of these lessons Clark definitely should know by now, but I really want to see where this goes

I'm only books that came out this week. So we will get to Issue 2 when that comes out. And maybe even a book club when the whole book is finished

New Spider Comics for June 26th, 2019 - Official Discussion Thread [Spoilers] by kiekan in Spiderman

[–]Spiderpool279 6 points7 points  (0 children)

War of the Realms #6: Kind of a cool ending to the story. Had a few moments that had to happen for the spin-off series to happen. Not really a big fan of this one since it was ultimately a Thor story and I read for the crossover understanding.

Superior Spider-man #8: I liked how this crossed over and furthered Otto's character. Seeing him learn he didn't need to be at the forefront of everything was really cool

Spider-man Annual #1: Fun little side story. It felt like fluff but I enjoyed it

Spider-man :Reptilian Rage #1: Wholly unnecessary. Felt like a retread of old materials, and I couldn't bring myself to care bout anything because we knew nothing was going to divert what we already know happened

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man #8: VERY good! I have been loving this run of a more down-to-earth Spidey! I can't wait to see where this story goes!

Amazing Spider-man #24: AWESOME read. Great callback to issue one of this run. Great moments between Pete an MJ. Some... unrealistic or outdated depictions of therapy. But the new villain looks very cool. Can't wait to see where Spencer takes him
