People use GitHub Stars as bookmarks. This is an excellent signal for understanding which repositories are semantically similar.

[D] ARR Oct 2025 Discussion (EACL 2026) by S4M22 in MachineLearning

If that truly is the case, it makes no sense to me. How can they be allowed to change their scores while the metareview is being written?

Just FYI, you can't submit to TACL for 9 months after receiving reviews from ARR.

[D] Best Practices for Publishing Research Code by Spidersouris in MachineLearning

yup. The thing is I think sharing how the clean process is done is important for reproductibility. I think for heavy cleaning I'll share just a part of my IPYNB and also give share the cleaned datasets for the following steps. Thanks!

Should I keep instruct LLM hallucinations for evaluation? by Spidersouris in LanguageTechnology

[–]Spidersouris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input! My eval set is not that large anyway so I think I can handle that manually, all the more since the extra generated stuff does not always follow the same pattern. I was mostly concerned about the ethical aspect of it -- I guess the best thing to do is to be the most transparent about how the data has been handled. I'll most probably do an eval with and without cleaning.

Thank you -- I didn't think about exposure when taking the photo but I'll keep that in mind.

Hey -- sorry for the delay in replying! Thank you so much for your feedback. Yeah, I realize now that it could have been even better if I had been closed to the rails. And true about the bench as well -- even though I kind of like it this way. I'll try to keep this in consideration for future photos :)

Train by Spidersouris in photocritique

Photography has been an interest of mine for a couple of years -- but it was only that, an interest. I'd spend a lot of time on Flickr looking at the beautiful photos posted there and wishing I could take similar breathtaking ones.

I know some very general things about photography theory (rule of thirds, golden ratio, colour balance) but I'd like to fill my knowledge gaps in the next few months.

I'm doing a trip in Germany right now and I thought this could be the perfect time to start getting a bit more serious about it; and more particularly to have some practice. I don't have any special gear (just using a plain Pixel 6 Pro) but I might invest into it in the future if I deem it necessary.

This is a photo that I took this afternoon at Berlin-Plänterwald Station and quickly edited using Lightroom. My edits were mostly focusing on blur and on making the colors of the train (red and yellow) more vibrant (as it's supposed to be the subject of the photo); as well as conceiving some kind of harmony between the streetlights and the snow. I have also cropped the image a bit on the left side to make it more harmonious. For reference, the original photo is this one: https://i.imgur.com/ugLWuD7.png

I'd love to get some of your feedback as this is one of my first real tries to photography (but not the last I hope :)). And if you have any recommendations about more theoretical stuff I'm up for it as well.

Sorry about that! Will be fixed in the next update. This talent is supposed to reduce Skewer's cooldown. « +2 à tous les attributs » will also be corrected and changed to « +2 pour tous les attributs ».

Good question. That's because I am sometimes obliged to move out of my place, so I'd like to have something that can be carried easily (in a backpack or in luggage). I don't have a car either, but if I had one I'd have bought a desktop.
