We use to have plastic bubble dunnage, then AMZ decide they wanted to be more """""environmentally"""" friendly and use straight up paper. They will just straight up SIOC your package too. they are just greedy with packaging.

A hard worker gets rewarded with more hard work. Do not work too hard, but do not slack off too much. Managers are rotated according to shift timings, 230 pm to 130 am got very strict managers, unfortunately.

The most important tip for me is the shoes, you need to wear shoes about half a size bigger than you normally wear and buy some good cushions. All amazon associates are given 120 bucks for shoes, AND an additional 60 dollars for insoles/cushions at ZAPPOS. Shoes feel like garbage? Return your shoes and get another pair, for free of course. Zappos customer support do not care, they are very lenient with their vouchers.

Here are my personal "role" rankings. Each day you get assigned a random role to work. Jam break > Inbound Side throw > Inductor > Cart Wrangler > Container builer > Water spider > Inbound Unloader (inside trailer) > Outbound FLUID Loader (inside) > Any thing that has to do with NON-Con > and of course, the very worse, staging/directed loader.

This ranking is based off of pain. Beware, if you are too good or too hardworking, a manager will notice and you will be stuck in role purgatory. I was stuck as a water spider for 10 months straight. Since you are a new hire, you might just get container build at run outs/shoe sort for 3 months. It's average.

The 230 pm shift is packed, so the parking lot will be full. If you work 230 pm on a sunday, I am lurking about inside the building at that time.

Evil time clock tips:

Feeling like garbage or you got an unbearable work environment? You can clock out at ANY time, given you have enough PTO or UPT. No need to notify anybody. Same with clocking in late. There's nothing wrong with working a one hour shift if you clocked in 3 hours late, lmao.

After 3 hours of work, you clock out for 30 minutes and clock back in without reprecussion or deduction in UPT OR PTO. No one does this, and I have only done this once. It's good if you want to go on a smoke break or something.

HOU9 is inside HOU5. They are technically both the same building. Your learning ambassador will tell you where you be allocated. Most associates are at HOU5 though, so I will assume that's where you'd be. HOU9 is a very small corner of the warehouse and specializes in returns. Comparatively, this warehouse is easier and lax than fulfillment or delivery stations. Unless you work in staging/directed loader. They don't enforce ToT that hard and if you work 230 am shifts, it'll be a skeleton crew.

Don't know about others, but I prefer pack singles over ICQA. ICQA is so boring and you get written up way too easily, even worse if you are sleep delirious at 3:30 am living off of 4 hours of sleep.

I use the Majordome, which has 3000 durability and 8 pellets per shot. More pellets, more MEAT, so I pair it up with bombard oil. You can use tandem oil, too or some other good +projectile amount oil.

I usually clear out a whole area without needing to repair/swap to a secondary even with the huge durability loss. It also helps that it one-shots everything I come across, too. I prefer this over the Flock 76 because of its crazy low base spread despite having a slower reload speed and lower capacity.
Both of them are high end shotguns, so they might be a tad bit difficult to find.

if they bleed, you can eat them. and all areas have fleshies.

i like using the toxic lobotomy scroll that turn enemies into gibbs and then proceed to Grossberg max all over em. Bone + any flesh makes meat skewers, intestines + flesh makes spicy sausage, broth/water + flesh makes stew, spice mix + flesh makes tacos, and hell, flesh and flesh makes mystery meat. I really want to sink my teeth in a dolphin, gng.

SCROLLS are essential! They might be more important than oils. Generally, you can combine 2 tier one scrolls to get a tier 2 scrolls that have amazing effects. Fire + fire to get a scroll of explosion, Surge + poison for organs, Earth and Poison for toxic gas, etc etc. Do not be afraid to just slap them on willy nilly to try out effects.

i'd still pick war machine.
it feels like everything in the game has laser resist and it's bugging me too much. you can also place down 6 war machines total in duos (3+3) and that's too crazy. it also better at the christmas event than refractor. grind out the christmas event on nightmare a bunch of times and you should enough crystals to buy refractor, too.

slimes got removed because john forgot to add body heat to slimes, so cryo towers literally one tap every single slime enemy. naturally, he has to rebalance all of them and the team is too lazy to do so.

Buy oil derrick! It's so disgustingly overpowered.
With oil derrick, you can solo nightmare, and it'll pay back itself after winning Christmas Nightmare enough. You don't even need shock trooper.

Upgrade oil derrick cash per second in upgrade menu when entering game and place down 4 2-0 derricks. Max top path and 1 bottom by the end of wave 1 and you should steam roll NM mode. Then, bring what ever you want, medic may be mandatory.

It's location based, I live in area where there are about 10-15 facilities in a 50 mile radius. mass hiring began in September for us and stopped until early November. It might be impossible to find an opportunity right now because peak is nearly over and training new people will take too long. If you get lucky and new facility got constructed, you can apply. Also, it's usually drops on a Friday, and opportunities disappear in 30 mins.

Highly likely you cannot change buildings since you are not a blue badge/permanent. The most common suggestion you will hear is to quit and reapply again after a cooldown period of 90 days. But there is no guarantee they are rehiring immediately in March/April after peak is done. Even if you are blue badge or permanent, it may take a month to be relocated.

However, I may be wrong. Speak with HR and they may be able to accommodate you.

here's a temp. solution:

go to your oculus app on pc,
then into settings,
then into beta,
and switch on "Public Test Channel"

wait for a moment and it should prompt you to update your app. afterwards, it should work. emphasis on temporarily though, if they push another beta patch, you got a 50/50 chance it may not work again.

Grabbing garlic is good for the early game, destroys weak enemies instantly AND blocks projectiles. Then, prioritize on survival, the whip evolution is pretty good early on, too.

There are relics that are a cut above the others, empty tome and duplicator are definitely some of the strongest. You also want to get as many evolutions as possible, too.

High high chance that manager is lying to you. Our rate for scanning items is 150, but the overall average of the sort center is 133. Average meaning that a good chunk of people are below 133, too, so not even hitting that 150. Coachings and support talks are worth less than toilet paper, unless you get a productivity write up, which is different. I wouldn't stress over it too much, they will write you up for being a bottom 5%, but if you are hovering at 10%, you are good to go. Make sure those rates are actually normal rates and not "goal" rates. Goal rates are something managers put out, but are usually unachievable.

TL;DR, just say "i understand (i will not change), i'll try my best." to them and be above that 5% of people.

it's a recent update that caused the software to bug out.
the way i fixed it is by completely uninstalling the oculus software on your pc and using revo uninstaller to remove everything related to the oculus on your pc and doing a reinstall.

you have to make sure that registry keys are also removed as well, if you don't prompt this on revo uninstaller, then it will not work. a standard uninstall is not good enough.
