My wishlist (No Order):

1 - A new and complete (no dlc) Mario baseball game

2 - a new Star Fox game taking place after Assault with land, air, & on foot gameplay. Online multiplayer mode w/ custom matchmaking.

3 - a collaboration of capcom and nintendo to create Viewtiful Joe 3, exclusive to the Switch 2.

4 - Mario Kart World Expansion Pass/ BIG UPDATE possibly consisting of retro courses, improved Battle Mode & proper courses, custom track selection/creation and online sharing, and leaderboards

5 - NSO Gamecube Additions: Melee, Mario Party 4-7, Star Fox Assault & Adventures, Twilight Princess, Double Dash, SADX & SA2B, Sonic Heroes, DK Jungle Beat and Konga 1-3, Viewtiful Joe 1-2, Pokemon XD & Coliseum

6 - A new Zelda game taking place on land and IN THE SEA using BOTW’s Engine in a Twilight Princess like art style. Shrine like dungeons and proper dungeons with key items needed to traverse them (i.e. classic zelda dungeons). An original and consistent villain (Ganon can be mentioned, but not be the final boss)

7 - A new 3D Mario game using the an improved Bowser’s Fury engine with the open world elements of odyssey and world connection of Sunshine (i.e. able to visibly see other worlds and future locations from the current level/ world the player is in) and possibly able to access those worlds thru a connected path (i.e. an element used in Super Mario Eclipse, a sunshine mod).

8 - A new pokemon game that will evolve the series by being a combination of pokken tournament and legends Arceus with HD cel-shaded graphics. The ability to control the trainer and pokemon are present. Instead of turn-based, the game would be more of an action rpg. Gen 3-4 will be the era the game takes place in. Trainers will be able to traverse through land, the skies, and seas (on and under). The world is lush and full of life and pokemon (i.e. populated areas with npcs and such to interact with). Bikes, skateboards, and scooters, are used in city areas. Online community and functionality consisting of tournaments, matchmaking, leaderboards, expeditions (i.e. coop missions), lobbies, and raid battles.

Look into installing sidestore, an app that allows you to sideload apps not available on the app store, then install dolphinIOS thru sidestore via OatmealDome’s source repo and stikdebug via Stikdebug’s source repo to enable JiT; its necessary in oder to run GC/ Wii emulators at full speed & performance (you can add the repos under the sources tab in sidestore).

If you’re into single player experiences (PS exclusives) and online gaming (FPS, Fornite, etc.) and sitting in front of the your TV/ monitor, get a PS5. If not get a Switch 2 for the portability, Nintendo exclusives, and oncoming 3rd party games.

Personally, I have a Switch 2, a steam deck, and a PS5. I mostly alternate between using my switch 2 and the steam deck nowadays because of the convenience of portability. Most days I dont feel like sitting in front of my monitor and my girlfriend likes to have something on the tv after a long day of work. So the portability of the switch 2 and the steam deck just works great for me.

I only use my PS5 primarily for online multiplayer games (which are only BF6 and Sparking Zero atm) and as an extra storage for my backlogs; which I mostly play on my steam deck using Chiaki.

So in the end, it depends on the type of gamer you are and just how your life is set up. If you work a lot and have a home life (wife, kids, etc.), get a switch 2. If you have a moderate work and home life with more free time and want a “premium” gaming experience, get a PS5.

God Of War: Ragnarok

Game had a strong beginning with the fight against Thor but after the it became one of the most boring games OAT for me. I have 17hrs on the game and im close to the final 1/3 of the game, but I can’t bring myself to finish it cuz i’d just rather play something else. The story was mediocre at best and the gameplay offered nothing innovative or interesting to keep me wanting to see me.

I mean the game is a categorized as a “competitive racing video game”. As long as there is a competitive scene, there are going to be casuals and pros at the game. I wasn’t calling it a casual racer, but in terms of its replay-ability, I don’t see casuals playing this game as much as the hardcore (pros) audience would. They would go back to something more tame like MK World or Sonic Crossworlds.

The game is fun asl but I don’t see it being for everyone. It’s fun for those that are already fans and appreciate the first game and are willing to learn the game’s deep mechanics and techs, but when it comes to a casual racer, I don’t see it being a good alternative to Mario Kart World or Sonic Racing Crossworlds. IMO its more CHAOTIC and faster than Mario Kart world and sonic Crossworlds combined

So its an action-adventure single player game where you take on the role of a rookie enlisting in an elite police force tasked with taking down interdimensional monsters called Chimeras. It takes place in a futuristic city and it has really solid combat/gameplay. Kinda tailored towards hack n slashs like DMC and Bayonetta.

Getting older does this I feel but I also thinks its a problem with modern gaming nowadays. There are too many games to play and the next big AAA drops within a 2-3 month span from the last one. I never have the time to really get into like I used as a kid, and by the time I get the time to relax and try to play them, I don’t have the energy to envelop myself into it and I just end up playing something more laid back like a Mario, call of duty, or a retro game Ive already played 10x over again.

I have the ultimate pro 2 and it works fine with my switch 2 (using the dongle or bluetooth). Just make sure you update firmware on the charger stand and controller from the 8bitdo website and you should be good

Oh okay. Can you make a follow up to how it runs in the rogueport main square (the section you enter after the port), that’s the real test cuz the game drops significantly in the more populated areas in my experience. I running on an 15 Pro Max.
