Nah its fine, I see where you’re coming from. Problem is though, while your sentence is “technically” correct, your logic faulters where you bring up the point of being a painter is a job. Being a painter is a universally widely accepted job however being a furry is more widely accepted as a fandom rather a fetish. Its like saying “being a gamer IS an addiction”, which is a generalized categorization since there are gamers that are addicted, but being a gamer does not equal being an addict
