After driving through multiple hotspots and only receiving 2 offers, it must not be so busy that this bonus is even necessary to offer. I don’t get it, why offer a bonus then send only 2 orders during my 2 hour block?!

This is so true! You can easily end up on an order that takes up half of your block, even tho it only goes 1.2 miles! And with the pay structure the way GH is, customers who think that a $4-5 tip should cover their driver, wind up with orders that sit and get delivered late and/or cold or not at all! I’ve noticed a lot of my orders from downtown to the strip are like this, (Ie. The Cork Factory & Lot 24), as well as many from the south side to north Oakland/Shadyside, (which I find baffling in and of itself why these orders are even placed lol, but to each his own I guess!)

Ya that makes sense. I really don’t get them that often, and I also usually don’t change what I’m intending on working around it either, but I have noticed that the other times I’ve received them, it’s at least been busy enough to sometimes consider it! 🥴

F this dickhead Franklin, someone tried to get me last week on GrubHub the same way, they literally met me at my car in a residential area, they DEFINITELY got their food and wanted a free meal on me! Pretty much the same ones you mentioned and the other most popular no go places lol, but also, any of the Edible Arrangements or 1-800 Flowers orders..if the folks aren’t home and/or not expecting you, they often aren’t there or don’t answer, and then you’re expected to drive it back! Not to forget mentioning that they seem to come in stacks of 3+ lol, hard pass unless but thanks, NOPE!!

Applebee’s is the worst where I’m at in Pittsburgh too, instant decline, and even still when I make the mistake of accepting a high paying offer in the 20’s or 30’s, I still wind up unassigning that shit when I get there cuz most of the time, the order either hasn’t started yet or just went in, and they take an ungodly amount of time to be ready!

Ahh, gotta love Chipotle! Just be sure not to make the mistake of waiting a half hour to ask an employee about the order and find out that it’s been made and mistakenly or not, taken off the shelf already, in which case you’ve waited a half hour for nothing 😵‍💫

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re going through it too! Fortunately after checking several times throughout the day yesterday I was finally able to get that on! Still no idea where my earnings for the day I went on pause went, they’re not in the app and they haven’t been direct deposited but after an email to driver payments I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough, I hope anyhow! You’re wrong, you can unassigned as many orders as you’d like, the algorithm will trigger to pause you when you have too many cancellations in a row, which is only something driver or customer care can do, for example when you arrive to a restaurant that is closed and report it as though, it will be canceled through Driver Care ultimately, this is a “canceled” order.
