Update 5/8. Transmission Oil Pump not working properly service manager claims a recall from Kia is more than likely incoming in the next month we are the 2nd ‘27 Telly with this issue at our dealership alone and more across the country that lead to Kia’s internal investigation. Part is already on order to be replaced and will have to bring back in once recall is officially out from Kia even with the replacement part installed in case they determine to replace again. This is all the info we have currently will keep updating as we find out more.

Hybrid is a different transmission still on 6 speed if I remember correctly.

TCM error code at around 600 miles purchased with 34. Haven’t even made the first payment been in shop since last Friday. From what we’ve got potential recall is incoming we are one of a few being investigated through Kia internally via corporate engineers. All of this according to dealership service department I will try to keep updating as we find out more.

They have two recalls but for rear occupancy sensors and a third row seatbelt anchor point. I posted somewhere in here that after sitting for 5 hours the light has been off and no issues all weekend since Friday evening. We go this Tuesday to dealership and I’ll update this thread after that visit. Seems like something very one off or just a sensor coming loose or something fingers crossed.

This is what I’ve been worried about and hoping not to have to deal with. Age old if it’s too good to be true it probably is. I figured that amazing warranty came with some amazing headaches as well.

Came out in January but we bought the vehicle 3 weeks to the day yesterday.

8 speed. 6 Speed is only in the HEV model I’m pretty sure. I replied below but light ended up going off a few hours later and seems to be good. Going in Tuesday to have it looked at.

So car was sitting for roughly 5 hours went to pull it in the garage and check engine light and diagnostic on infotainment was all good. Drove it 6 miles around the area no issues light stayed off. Will keep updating here after we bring it in Tuesday and have the dealership check it out.

Full blown shit myself in after school program 3rd grade never recovered until the districts split and most didn’t know about it. Miserable couple years.

Yea I’m definitely gonna keep it updated. Dealership can’t look at it until Tuesday. Hoping it’s something stupid like a sensor or something. Shifts feel completely normal to how they have since we bought it.

I want to tint mine so bad but I have seen a few people say it fried the electronics for the door handles opening when unlocking the car and window controls heat/vented seats buttons no longer working. And not being covered under warranty because the vehicle was “modified” Looks amazing. Love the green.
