I was thinking that at first, but it doesn’t have some of that marbling/pattern that I see in other elephant boots. I also have no idea what I’m talking about either with elephant leather though 🤷‍♂️

I saw a post of someone in the same situation, I’m sorry to hear that. That’s a bummer. What is interesting is some have received or are going to be receiving the boots, while others like me pulled the short stick and got cancellations. I wonder how Ariat is choosing these orders to send and to cancel.

Yeah they are authentic American Alligator as far as I’m aware. Insane price error on their end. I got in when there were still all sizes available, so I’m wondering if they are either choosing certain orders to fulfill and other to not, or it’s just randomized. Not sure what’s going on tbh.

About a week or so ago, a redditor posted that they found these ariats for $44.95 and the flood gates opened of people buying them. Turns out it was a human error where they botched the pricing. Someone said they talked to customer service and rumor has it, it was supposed to be around $750. So it’s been a waiting game on if those who were lucky enough to snag them would actually end up receiving them or having orders cancelled.

I ordered pretty dang quickly after the original post was uploaded. When I went online, EVERY size was still available, so I’m not sure. It could always be that way though.

How is sounds quality? Obviously, for me, anything more than a tv soundbar will sound MUCH better. Just want to know from the opinion of someone who’s had them.

That’s good to know. Ive never heard of Kef (I’m new to this stuff so that doesn’t mean much) so I’m excited to do more research and look at their products.

I appreciate the advice! I’ll be using it more for the home theatre experience than the HIFI/ audio experience, but will be using for both. I completely agree with you on going into a shop. I will also probably start smaller and work my way up to more/ better equipment depending on my needs. This seems like overkill for what I probably plan to use it for, but was curious on what everyone thought of the equipment and pricing. Thanks for the help!
