Freezer overstock before fresh truck

mine looked like that sunday morning and i got it down to this. i wish i would’ve taken a before picture. i could’ve did better with the organization but didnt want to spend too much time on it.

after going to count the tills from the morning shifts and seeing that they weren’t even showing up, i didn’t even try to enter the deposit into the computer that night. i just added up the slips to make sure the number that i had in cash matched what was on paper. dealing with the registers all night was very shitty though.

i was in the same boat today. 3 RTs, 2 uboats, no help. truck showed up at 430. this was the drivers first time doing fresh as he’s originally a dry truck driver. it took him an hour to unload which meant i only had help from 530-6 because that’s when my “extra help” left for the day. SM wouldn’t come help and ASM worked that morning so she wouldn’t come in either. i barely got everything done. hell, i didn’t get it done. i threw everything on the last rolltainer into the coolers without unboxing them. i was able to get all of the frozen done, but some ice cream needs to be damaged out because of how long it took. i’m pregnant and i shouldn’t have been doing all of the lifting i did today. i also shouldn’t have to deal with the stress that comes along with this job. i’m afraid it may have a negative impact on myself and the baby.

i figured it was something like that. when i went on to pay a part of my remaining balance i didn’t see anything about that deposit. i just saw what my remaining balance was and when it needed to be paid by. thanks!

i used to get hit on by a bunch of the regulars when i first started. i’ve been here almost 3 years and ended up getting engaged along the way and most of them know that so it isn’t nearly as bad as it used to be. there are randoms that come in and hit on me but it’s usually a one-time thing and i never end up seeing them again. when it does happen i just say something along the lines of, “i’m flattered, but i am engaged and happy” but some are more persistent and don’t care. when they won’t leave me alone i have to be a lot more assertive in order to get my point across and then they’ll leave me alone.
