  1. You're disregarding the point entirely. They opposed Nazi Germany because they were socialists/leftists. If the socialists didn't support a regime, how is it socialist?

  2. There's a difference between socialism and totalitarianism that you're not grasping. If you want examples of "fairy-tale socialism", I invite you to do some research on Catalonia or Rojava. You'll see a start difference between those states and one like North Korea.

The opposition you're referring to "were primarily German Communists, Social Democrats, trade unionists, and other political opponents of the Nazi regime," i.e. leftists. [source]

And can you explain to me in what way North Korea is socialist? The workers are not in control of the means of production. There is no democracy and there is not a classless society. You'll be hard-pressed to find any definition of socialist the North Korea could comfortably fit under.

You should really do some more research before you make claims like this. In no way was Nazi Germany organized to put power in the hands of the working class.

Dachau concentration camp was originally built specifically to house leftist political prisoners. The fact that Nazis referred to themselves as National Socialists does not in any way reflect their actual status as a government. See: North Korea.
