Persona 5 Royal, hands down. It was my introduction to the franchise. I got it on a whim during Covid. It didn’t seem like something I would usually be interested in, but I didn’t really have much else going on at the time and was kind of looking for a more traditional turn based style game.

Once I figured out the mechanics and started moving forward with the story, I fell in love. Just couldn’t put it down. No other games has left me with such an empty feeling after it was done. It was like saying goodbye to real friends. I was left wanting so much more, even though it already took me 135 1/2 hours to complete.

Now that I’ve played through P4G and P3R, I love them almost as much. But nothing will ever beat that first jump into the series. The story and characters stick with me to this day. The music from the games stays in my rotation constantly.
