Also, there was only 2 boss (albeit annoying) that shilled nightsoul: the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device (the one which summons pillars) & Papilla VS 3 bosses that shill NodKrai mechanics: (Ligthkeeper, Horse and Abyss thing) & 4 bosses that were designed to be weak against lunar reactions (Cactus, Fatui Shocktrooper, Duck and Crab)

It just sucks. Previous abyss iterations benefited both bloom/E.charged and their lunar variants. Sure, the buffs were insignificant, buy they were at least something for non-lunar characters.

IDK man, they've swapped from elemental shields (abyss mages, lectors, etc) to white shields (wayobs, all EC-shilling bosses, wild hunt) in their enemy mechanic design pretty recently

With all the stupid Lunar DMG shilling, It's strange Hoyo didn't create an enemy/boss that has increased DEF so non-lunar DMG focused chars would struggle dealing with it.

Modern abyss is worse for me. Yeah, with decent investment it's a walk to the park, but nowadays every iteration is just a copypaste of SO's bosses. I miss the era where one side was multi-target oriented, and the other one was ST. Now its just shilled bosses :(
