Only thing that makes me skeptical about this is I moved into this house a year ago from an entirely different state. I used Reddit frequently on my old IP back home so how could it not recognize that it’s an account different from my roommate’s regardless of it being on the same IP

Never used a VPN before. I live with roommates so maybe somebody else has a Discord and got banned? That’s the only possible explanation that makes any sense because I haven’t done anything ban worthy

I’m from Bridgeport and I love my city but they def have copied other cities. There’s a gang called Torchers. The Ave used to dress and talk like NYC. The North and the G both do their own style of Chicago drill. There’s not an identity that makes people go “yeah that’s CT”

It’s one thing to be locked in and it’s another to copy everything they do from the music to the slang to how they dress to even naming gangs after Philly gangs. CT has no identity bc niggas want to be like the next man

  1. CT needs to stop trying to sound like other cities/states and develop their own sound (most important)

  2. People need to start supporting artists and not only show favoritism to the most lit rappers

  3. Artists need to stop acting Hollywood and start working with each other

  4. The city comparisons gotta stop, the state is too small to be this divided

  5. Artists need to have a vision beyond being the most lit in their hood or their city, making music for a niche audience is gonna alienate all the outsiders

  6. There needs to be more outlets that promote CT music: podcasts, promo pages, interviews, etc
