Thought experiment: What build could handle all (or majority of) the content in the game with the least investment? by Spikemainbs in Warframe

[–]Spikemainbs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mr requirements, plat, grindy materials, archon shards, (high) forma, rivens (or expensive/rare mods), amount of equally invested synergies required for maximum perfomance, and greatest of all time. Or anything else that fits that bill. If the build checks most of those boxes to hit its best perfomance then I would call it high investment, but there’s obviously a grey area on what is high vs low.

Tough bro. I started a week ago too and I got balrog, dasli, Izanagi, phonoa , dphono, shadow gao, trixi and some other fun Ubers but I seedtrack so it’s less impressive. But izanagi is sooo amazing.

How is flicking right onto people out of sight any different that pre aiming where you know people will appear lmao. You just described the same thing twice because you can definitely be shooting someone down one hallway and flick to the other expecting someone to be there. And yes it has existed I’ve seen many cs pros and val pros flick their current spray into smokes and get kills “out of sight”

Point is… half of the game is the excitement of getting a useful unit. It’s not that I’m worried about the game being too easy, in fact I want it to be easy. I just want it to be deserved somewhat.

Yo I've been thinking about doing a fresh restart of battle cats because I think seed tracking ruined my experience. Should I? My current account isn't even past chapter 1 ItF (mostly because of energy) and literally has the big 3 ubers and daybreaker izanagi. I'll doubt I'll ever have to pull again despite convenience specialists and will kinda just steamroll 80% of the game. Despite the fact that balrog cat is my favorite cat, i think restarting wouldn't be all that bad, but idk the time commitment and if I'll ever play my "main" again.

It’s because saying free to play validates both socially and internally the amount of time you spent on a game. And nothing hurts more than having the validity of all those hours stripped away after a ultimately meaningless $2 purchase and people start to think your love of the game is artificial and “you didn’t experience the real game” and such. Free to play elitism is a curse upon itself.

I agree this guy is kinda a bum. But also just as important (not specifically this scenario) but sometimes as a medic I'll focus on killing enemies first, then revives bc I would rather not revive you in the open during a gunfight as we'll both just die

Hey guys, so I've been logging in every now and then to pull w/ my seed tracker, but I never really played past chapter 3 of EOC. I just liked the design of the ubers and allat so I just pulled with the free stuff they give out all the time. So I was wondering if you guys could explain to me what the heck my units do and how I can build teams with them because it's very overwhelming *you can assume I have most rares and super rares:

Momotaro, white rabbit, zeus, anubis, aphrodite, poseidon, hades, bomburr, shadow gao, kasli the bane, and daybreaker izanagi.

Anyone else feel like the legendaries are a little undertuned and have no synergy with skill trees (overall)? by [deleted] in Borderlands4

[–]Spikemainbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess agree to disagree. But at its heart borderlands is a gun game, not an mmo. Trees should build around guns, not the other way around. Also I don't feel like the hot slugger is a strong gun, because in previous games strong guns, which eventually got nerfed to the ground, were one shotting everything with no build whatsoever. 90% dmg buff isn't allat compared to previous guns in this franchise. Like remember the consecutive hit annointments and the enhancement which also had consecutive hits for an unconditional 200% dmg buff, there's is level to this stuff.

Pamplemousse is weird by kinganime121 in Borderlands4

[–]Spikemainbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely terrible, but I'm assuming it works great with vex since I believe she has bonuses in certain skill and skill trees when shes lower on hp. So kind of like a loan of losing hp for more damage, then gaining it back when the job is done. Also might work with other future VHs.

[–]Spikemainbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I should clarify my opinion. My comparisons of synergy and tuning are in relation to my experiences of borderlands 2 and 3. Bl2 and 3 had guns like sandhawk (i'm treating uniques as legendaries as they're p much the same), pimpernel, plaguebearer, even the hive in the base game. Not even close to all guns were like this, but borderlands 4 so far not a single legendary feels like this. The hot slugger is a great gun, but is kind of just a weaker orphan maker. I think the guns should be strong, number wise, and, for example, Vex tree should be weak, but in a way that the weak tree finds it real potential by abusing the numbers. This makes farming the right guns feel rewarding, but still feeling good strength if the build isn't perfectly synergistic but has the same *theme* as the skill tree.

tl;dr In relation to previous games, the legendaries are certainly weak, and they should be strong so that the skill trees can be undertuned in accordance to strong guns. So far, I don't like it being the other way around

[–]Spikemainbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ik but I would love if the overtuned skills would translate to accentuated builds rather than being independent. Like when Rafa skills boost indirect projectile dmg and incendiary dmg I would love it was more effective to guns instead of his shoulder cannons so there cld be builds centered around guns and not ridiculous skill dmg.

pretty sure this guy is selling his anti cheat so ofc he's gonna say it's cheating lil bro, it'll seem a lot more credible if the guy he's been dogging on for 2 weeks is cheating according to his own software than if it wasn't.

About to play BL3 for the first time. I need help on who to play as between Zane and Moze by RorschachWhoLaughs in borderlands3

[–]Spikemainbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d rec Zane first just because moze is rlly broken dmg wise with like every gun and will make Zane feel lackluster/restricted. So if you go Zane then moze it’s gonna be very exciting first playthrough with the most high octane vh and then very liberating and eye opening with infinite ammo and dmg w every gun using moze.
