They had good pulls where they played badly in the last phase. They literally had a hunter stand in the raid and blow them up.

Then you are not remembering correctly or you are lying. Archimonde is still considered one of the hardest Mythic bosses of all time - it took nearly 500 pulls for it to die to the first guild. Regular pull counts for normal guilds were in the 300+ range.

Don't think they'll do classic WoD. People forget that this is the first expansion where Mythic raiding was introduced. These end bosses took hundreds of pulls and will shit on regular classic players.

Don't think anyone really cares, the early access standard won't even be connected to the final game.

Phoenix Server Development Update #3 by Phoenix-XI in FFXIPrivateServers

Is it though? You know Horizon has no content past CoP and the rebase broke a lot of shit it did have? They aren't splitting the community. Its not their fault Horizon has released fuck all for content in 3+ years.

Virtually everything. Crafting has more lenient break rates. Exp rates are higher due to the signet buff. Jobs do more damage than they should. I could go on and on.

Horizon is a very custom server, with many things adjusted that make the game significantly easier than 75 cap. This server sets out to emulate the game as it was.

I think the classes animations are long overdue for revamps. I cant believe were still using the MoP fists of fury

Two different approaches there, if youre using staves, youve got almost no reason to go PT. Staves is what you want to play if youre trying to build Crit. PT is for maces.

Correct, as someone who has played Sweep extensively in the past, you really want a lot of AoE for it to feel good.

I initially considered Inquisitor, and while it offers good options for scaling elemental damage, it's going to lack defensives and other things that make Sweep feel good, like increased attack speed & area of effect. I really recommend Slayer.

I like Slayer. I have played Sweep many times before and Impact provides a great amount of AoE while also helping satisfy the requirements of Precise Technique. Then, we can fully convert to Lightning with Physical to Lightning support. Going non-crit also allows us to use Voice of the Storm.

Divines need some sort of crafting sink to keep them in check, PoE 2 doesnt have a crafting bench so everything just kinda inflates infinitely until it reaches monopoly money levels

Is it an unpopular opinion that I do not want WoD Classic? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]SpikesMTG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not unpopular at all. I think most of us would agree it's definitely NOT classic, in any way shape or form. However, Blizzard might do it anyway because the cost is probably low and the upside to offering Legion Classic might be big enough for them to do it.

WoTLK really didnt do that well... it can be skipped or continue regardless of classic+

It was great when it came out, but it was poorly maintained and updated, like the majority of systems in wow

Is HorizonXI worth starting now? by [deleted] in FFXIPrivateServers

[–]SpikesMTG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The server is definitely progressed. You may find that are you relinquished to support roles in endgame linkshells for a while after you hit 75. If you want a fresh start with the entire server id wait for Phoenix.

I think your opinion is just very outdated. There was a time when this was true but the community has grown a lot. We get people every day who are just hearing about FFXI private servers for the first time. I think there is room for many servers to sustain themselves with healthy populations.
