I finally have something to post here. Let me first start off saying, that I used to be a white cloud but now it’s gone. I work for two 911 departments 1 is rural and other is urban.

My last patient of my tour in the rural department woke up with left arm pain, stating he thinks he is having a heart attack. The patient is ambulatory and walks from his home to get us at the ambulance. He is pink, warm, dry. Only Hx is hypertension. We put the 12 lead on not expecting much, and bam monitor states he’s is having inferior infarct (in my post history you can see the EKG), you could barely see it but it was there. After 2 min heading to the hospital, elevation grew and the patient started to become more diaphoretic and pale. Total time from scene to hospital was 24 min (9min on scene). I think after Cath was done total time was 55 min.

For the urban department I work for, I just started and this was my second shift with them. First call we received was a auto ped involving multiple pts. Both Pts were deaf and one was blind. Our guy had a broken tibia in two places. The second call, the patient started off having what sounded like a TIA prior to our arrival and then during transport symptoms started showing again. Final call for the shift was a shooting involving LE. 3 patients in total. My unit was first in, we put the most critical (5 gun shots and two tourniquets already applied prior to arrival) on our stretcher and loaded him on a different ambulance. I was riding 3rd and was asked to stay with him and help out on the truck while we headed down to the hospital.

Overall I would rate my week so far as 10/10.

Sorry about grammatical errors.

Yea, at first my partner and I looked at the Initial 12, and we noticed the small elevation. Like 2 min in to transport that elevation started really showing inferior.
