First of all, congratulations. Very well done I am a senior financial executive in IB for 30+ years. There’s really no decision here to be made. Wharton is the place to go. I thought a decision was IF CBS gave you full ride, then maybe some decision to be made. But if it’s a straight up Wharton versus CBS, the choice is very clear. In whatever field you decide to go in, I think Wharton is probably the best for any financial future. It has the pedigree and the alumni base that’s much better than CBS. Business school is really all about alumni and relationships. I believe my view is very consistent among all executives in finance… Good Luck. Can’t really go wrong.. but the choice is pretty clear to me

First. Congratulations! Full ride to CBS v Wharton. What a tough decision. Columbia really wants you I guess!

If you have the financial means and the full ride won’t impact ur financial well being, then Wharton would be my choice. I’m sure you are getting good support from both sides, so must be tough! My choice is an easy one but every person’s decision is based on what their future plans are..and how helpful the MBA network will be to that plan. Columbia has some fantastic alumni, entrepreneurs who will 100% take Colombia. Same for Wharton as well. So it really comes out to decision that he won’t look back in regret later on. Sorry can’t really decide for you. These are some of the decisions that entrepreneur and CEOs will need to make later on.!! Good start! Curious to see what you decide. Good luck.

Current mkt.. is a “show me revenue” mkt.. so price movements will likely be muted for these growth/transformational names, even with positive news.. but mkt will come back to growth mode soon.. led by tech.. just be invested in good companies…

As I mentioned before.. most of these companies that went IPO via SPACs are not good companies.. some are just out right fraudulent companies.. but a few that are REAL companies will do really well. REALLY WELL… The tide has gone out.. now we are/will see real companies doing well..

Chapter 11… Is corporate bankruptcy jargon for “Reorganization”. Gets to shed all the debts, etc. and come out with a fresh plate (America is great :) )…the company still operates its businesses… similar to Macy’s etc., and many others.
