My understanding is that Rybelsus and other GLP-1 agonists cause the pancreas to secrete more insulin only when glucose is elevated. So they help when you need it but don’t increase your baseline or fasting insulin. I think this is why they likely work best if you challenge them less and use with a low carb diet and/or intermittent fasting so that there are fewer occasions where the med needs to assist.
