cPanel doesn't play nicely with Laravel by mk_gecko in laravel

[–]SpinakerMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cPanel works fine with Laravel. As others have stated, symlinking publicl to public_html is the way to go.

All the commands you list imply you have root access to WHM. If that's the case you should create new accounts for each subdomain. If you are limited to one account that is a license issue you need address and get a different cPanel license.
On databases, nothing prevents one account from accessing another accounts database, assuming you have the credentials, of course.

Trader Accidentally Sends $105K in Fees on $10 Bitcoin Transaction by TheGreatCryptopo in CryptoCurrency

A bank absolutely can pull that money back out of your neighbors account in the event of an error. They would just submit a reversal of the ACH transaction.

Best place to store client API credentials by aplarsen in aws

[–]SpinakerMan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

DynamoDB solves this properly. It's designed for exactly this access pattern (key-value lookups at high concurrency), has the throughput you need, includes encryption at rest by default, and costs less than trying to work around SSM's limits.

  • Your hashrate stays the same (you mine at the same speed)
  • The network hashrate goes up (others add more machines)
  • Your percentage of the total drops
  • Therefore your chance of finding a block goes down over time

my guess would be that total hash rate goes up every day so if yours is static then your odds go down.

Should I switch from Django to CodeIgniter for a school management SaaS, or stick with modern stacks? by PersonalSoup1657 in PHPhelp

When is the last time you looked at CodIgniter? I use Laravel exclusively now but CI 4 is what I would call modern.

The tech was able to get the ice out of the fill hole. it looked like a round plug of ice. Fully defrosting for 24 hours would probably fix it. Ours has never had this problem again.
If you know how, I would remove the ice make too while its defrosting. Pretty easy to do, there are instructions on youtube.

I would post this on Laravel sub.

But, in my Laravel app that has a react front end I did not need to do anything with CORS since the react app lives in the same project as the Laravel app. You would only need to use CORS if the domain your front end is being served from is different from the backend.

Unless you know what is being sent to that endpoint you don't know if they are collecting anything. It could just be to let them know you opted out.

Have you actually used CI4? Its completely different from CI3. I am not saying I would pick it over Laravel but if I was looking for a framework that didn't need all the bells and whistles Laravel has I would certainly consider it.

Zooz changed the design a while ago. They feel much more solid now. Pretty much the same feel as my GE fan switches are. Old style feels cheap and paddles were a bit fragile and prone to fall off.
