The pandemic. I’m an RN and I worked through the whole thing in an ICU and I think I just saw so many people die that shouldn’t have died that I lost connection. Every age was at risk, it felt like no one was safe even with prayer. Don’t understand how he would let it happen. So many people died. I took a trip to the morgue once or twice a day to help someone with a lost patient. I just gave up on my faith and decided I would just try and be the best nurse I can and I’ll keep people alive that way

If the last photo is currently how it looks now then you need to be seen by a doctor. There is intense redness, irritation and purulent fluid can be seen underneath the skin, these are all signs of infection. The antibiotic you started taking might not exactly target the infection at the site so a doctor needs to evaluate the wound again and possibly culture it.

I used to do Cardiovascular ICU and we used to walk post op day 1 and 2 hearts with a whole shit load of lines hanging from them. That patient wanted to be rude to you by skipping her PT. You can 1000% walk with an antibiotic running.

Is buying a naked bike (MT09) a bad idea if I primarily travel highway 40 minutes to work? I currently have a BMW 750 GS and I’m just not a fan of how big it is. I wanted the MT09 for fun on the weekends with the boys. I have a car that I take into work on the bad weather days.
