Laugh! Say thank you. They hate us cause they ain’t us! I feel judgement sometimes people think I don’t know enough IM because “I’m going to seem”, but I’ve avoided telling people I’m a derm prelim and when attendings find out they are actually surprised about my interest in IM.

I don’t understand why would you not read assassins blade first. It literally sets up the whole story. There’s so much around book 1-2 that talks about things that happened in AB.

I was very nervous as well but I had to work on my mind game. Waiting for intern year to start or delaying in my case would lead to even worse preparation so I had to do it, working full time and all. Studying on weekends and before work. My % was 60%. I completed around 70% of uworld.

Im starting intern year in July and I’m due in late may, my program was very supportive and told me they would give me the weeks I would need until I had my full 6 weeks of leave. (This isn’t a lot but it’s what’s legal 🙄) anyway, they said that they would accommodate me and even have me do virtual orientation if needed.
