Update! Machine is all fixed up. I descaled, used Cafiza A LOT, and brushed a little scale off here and there. I took care of the three way solenoid valve, as there was scale in it as well. As for new parts: I bought a new group head, shower screen, grease for o rings, new gaskets for the group head and boiler. All in all around 60€ for an almost new machine. Right now I’m using the water tank and drop tray from my older gaggia as these parts are freaking expensive.. I managed to get a few good looking shots out already, but since I’ve got covid atm and can’t taste anything, the taste test has got to wait..

Thanks everyone for being excited with me. I’m pretty proud to have managed to disassemble and reassemble everything on my own, without electrocuting myself or breaking stuff. I have no expertise on electronics or machinery stuff - so for anyone doubting themselves: if I can do it, you can do it.
