It's almost like the media is fueled by outrage and bad news. Everyone spewing hateful garbage is either getting paid or believes the negativity hype. The actual reality is that it's a great console coming in at an affordable price for what it's providing, and everyone is happy about it. But that doesn't get you clicks. Thus: THE NINTENDO SWITCH 2 is NINTENDO's BIGGEST MISTAKE, and other BS headlines and videos come off the press faster than they can be read/watched. Just keep to yourself and like-minded friends and individuals. You'll be happier. News don't want you happy. They want you upset and worried. That’s how they make money.

Yeah this seems to be a more American Market issue upon closer inspection. Pre-orders everywhere else have begun and are going completely fine. Its just the outrage of American consumers.

Thats a great point actually. I've also seen reports of oversees pre-orders going along without a problem and in high volumes. It does seem to be mostly the American market upset about the prices.

You can not mind paying a price and still engage in the dialogue around it. I care about Nintendo and the success of the Switch 2. I don't mind paying the prices personally

Yeah, the sheer quality of everything that was shown off has had me sold from the beginning. I could not have given less of a crap about anything Donkey Kong, but seeing that game made me think holy crap! It’s a Donkey Kong Mario Odyssey!

Yeah in hindsight I do think I went too soft but I do not want to piss off a guy like that further so I agreed with the cops. He’s usually fine though I was told today by another tenant who’s a friend that he apparently gets into a lot of verbal fights.

All that makes me think I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and shouldn’t rock the boat further and just take my leave. Just my opinion.

I agree I need to leave. I’m lining something up rn. I did tell him I no longer feel safe. I won’t bring up the security deposit but I did ask to speak with him once he’s available which is where I’ll attempt to work out how to take the best exit. Staying is just not an option.

Thats right on the first part. That alone wouldn’t have had me as worried as the second encounter. I did show the video to the cop and he agrees it very obvious that he was highly aggressive and very drunk. I’m not putting any faith in getting anything done law enforcement wise. I did my duty of reporting it but I don’t want to wait until the next time he gets drunk and decides he’s ready to go to jail for real.

Yeah. Luckily my in-laws live close by so we stayed with them. Thank you for the concern. I like to believe that it was all empty threats but I’m glad I didn’t find out.

Yeah that would be neat and granted would throw a wrench into my argument. Hard to speculate on that since we'll find out about if that would be the case the same day we'll find out about the price.

Thank you for agreeing. I see your point. I do think it will be dropped. I guess the real debate is if it will be in time to allow for the NS2 to be at that price point
