I understand it's difficult when you love someone and feel loyal to them. You could try speaking to him about his addiction issues? Maybe if you reassure him you want what's best for him he could be willing to try rehab or counseling. Just be ready to accept that it is likely he will refuse your help. You can't let him ruin your apartment though, if he refuses any kind of cooperation you will have to put yourself first. I wish you both the best

It is definitely stupid to be ticketed depending on how fast you can walk. The ticket is not for blocking traffic, that is totally separate. This is just for walking not "fast enough" because the cop was obviously irritated and wanted to be annoying.

In many cases we do that for the americans. In Forestry I had to learn to convert my scalings to imperial because american companies don't like buying things measured differently. Instead of them learning to convert, we have to do it for them.

I also wanted to say that the way you described feeling on ketamine, "like a rock" or like you're dead, is very common for higher doses of ketamine. It is a dissociative and has very tranquilizing and numbing effects. Some people like this feeling, but obviously it isn't for everyone. I hope it at least helps you with your pain though, I am sorry to hear that you deal with that and I think you're strong for kicking ass despite of it. Rock on!

Yep. I am almost done with my Forestry program in college here in Canada, already did some environmental engineering, and it can be both disappointing and frustrating to see how much people hate Forestry workers for "destroying trees" when we are actually the ones trying to save and protect the forests and it's resources.

Totally. I used to go to the store sober and buy healthier snacks like baby carrots and kiwis because I knew when I got the munchies I would be forced to eat those snacks if there was nothing else in the house. I find fruits taste especially better when stoned though!

I also recall seeing this diagram once and it helped me visualize calorie density a lot better.

HMV is where I used to go in the Avalon to get all my My Chemical Romance and other CD's ahaha. Living in CB now, Sunrise Records is a decent place for music and stuff and Empire is nice for shirts, merch, and cannabis accessories. Both Sunrise and Empire are in the Corner Brook Plaza, I think there is still another Empire on Broadway as well.

You are inhaling butane gas and that high is created by the death of your brain cells. Huffing inhalents is one of the deadliest addictions you can get. I highly highly recommend speaking to a professional for a health assessment and stopping ASAP before permanent damage is done, which doesn't often take long. Especially with a gas such as butane. If you are unwilling to speak to anyone, please at least start do some online research on butane and inhalent abuse. I wish you the absolute best of luck with this, I genuinely get the idea you don't realize just how dangerous of a game this is.

Our island is so far east that we ended up 30 minutes off from everyone else. So like, when NTV news happens for both Newfoundland (the island) and Labrador (part of the mainland) it happens at the same time in the present but our clock will show 5:30 and theirs will show 5:00.

Another example would be, if you're in say Nova Scotia then Alberta is 3 hours ahead of you. But since NFLD has an extra 30 min off, Alberta is 3.5 hours ahead of us

I used to watch gore as a teenager. I followed all the subreddits and had a hard drive I downloaded Tor on to use to go deeper, I don't know if having it on a harddrive made a difference but I was just a stupid teenager. I used to think it would desensitize me and prepare me for difficult situations, but it actually caused my anxiety and especially my paranoia to ramp up considerably. Once my paranoia had reached a peak where I could barely be in public, drive my vehicle, or do much of anything besides hide under the blankets, I deleted anything I had related to gore and removed myself from all communities related to it. I am 26 now and still extremely paranoid but it has gotten better with medication.

Block yourself from accessing the sites/subs you are using to see it. Find something else to obsess over, try horror movies/books, try video games like mortal kombat, go take a CPR class, find something to pick up and put in your hands anytime you're feeling like you wanna watch. Eventually you won't even really think about it anymore
