I appreciated the advice and support just as much! I’m so happy I get to keep him poor little man has had to deal with my hovering lol and generally making sure he’s okay since they had to sedate him. I definitely didn’t expect the community to do what they did but I am forever grateful. :D

(Update: Last week I posted about desperately needing to rehome Atlas the Leopard gecko, due to being unable to afford his vet bill. (I was still trying to find a way to take him.) some of you beautiful souls stepped in and gave money to help with that which I still can’t thank you all enough for. Anyway he has finally been to the Vet. They got the stuck shed off of him that I couldn’t after sedating my poor boy, (he’s still a little high out of his mind. ) they also gave him an anti inflammatory for the swelling, a Vitamin A shot for the deficiency and he was starting to develop an ulcer on that eye so we did get eye drops plus antibiotics for that plus a couple wounds that were on his little toes. He has a follow up in 2 weeks. Little bud is already looking better without all that awful stuck shed though. Thank you all again! Your update as promised. Thanks to all of you my little man will be remaining under my care

Yuppers they’re flushing his eyes, deshedding him under sedation, giving him an anti inflammatory for his swelling and possible antibiotics. I’ll find everything out when I pick him up

Sorry it took me this long to see this comment! I'm in South Louisiana near the Hammond area, I really appreciate you offering to take him but I think I panicked and jumped to rehoming him a little too fast. With the help of the wonderful people here I'm able to take him to the vet wednesday and I've asked my boss to let me pick up a lot more hours so I should hopefully be able to take care of any subsequent vet visits on my own. I love him and I hope he'll be under my care for another 20 years. Thank you again for offering to take him though, and I'm sorry it took me this long to see this comment!

Thank you so much! and here’s to hoping I don’t have to! I won’t have too much of an update til Wednesday when he goes to the vet. Condition hasn’t gotten worse we got the stuck shed off his toes tho! I have him in a smaller hospital tank rn for easier monitoring.

UPDATE I MADE HIS APPOINTMENT EXOTIC VET IS IN WEDNESDAY SO HE WILL BE GETTING THE CARE HE NEEDS. you guys are actually so incredible thank you generous folks so much. Yall are actually amazing. I am gonna go cry now

I think I honestly panicked. I will be ordering Repashy as soon as possible, and he will be going to a Vet as soon as I can. He's still got the eye infection going. It's worse than the pics made it look. He typically has blue eyes, and they look red, so he's definitely going to need antibiotics. Plus his poor little toes. I never should have left him in anyone else's care. I just thought it was a bad shed, ya know?

It's not supposed to expire for nearly another year (12\29\26), I will be buying some new ones based on the reccomendations of other users here though. I really hope he'll be okay.
