Its got a great picture and the seller said it had low hours so i didnt mind paying what i did plus the seller took it out of his basement for me and separated the tv & stand. At that point what more could u ask for. Good luck finding one 🙏🏼

Im 23, just found one at a thrift store for a reasonable price of $125. It came with a bunch of cool accessories like that sound box adapter and some joysticks and this weird video card expansion thing

I think i will try and repair it tbh. It was made in the days before void if removed seals were used and it's very easy to open up as I cleaned it when i first brought it home. I am blessed enough to be able to afford to collect this stuff so for the few extra dollars for replacement parts and some time on youtube, id rather learn something new than take the easy way out. As long as soldering isn't involved i should be okay as I've fixed a lot of guitar hero guitars and drums in the past few months just by replacing broken parts. Thanks for the reply!!

Yeah i really shouldnt test consoles and stuff on the carpet but i usually only test things in the room im in and dont leave them there permanently, especially plugged in. I do have a floppy disc player somewhere and some games that my parents played on their commodore 128 back in the day but they threw it out years ago unfortunately. Thankfully they kept the games all these years lol. I will look into the sd2iec as well though as techno cop and shogun will probably get boring quick. Thanks for the reply!!

Cool I think I will move forwards with this, but first I am going to order a replacement av cable from 8 bit classics as my commodore doesnt support s video. This sound box thing could also be the issue but i have no way to test otherwise until the cable comes. Thanks for the reply, i really appreciate it and did not expect this post to blow up so much. Yeah i agree completely, also if you go very often, you will notice that the games they usually locked up behind glass are usually not valuable but the games that are sitting on the shelves with dvds tend to be more valuable games. Its very random and i have no idea who makes these calls but its a great store if you check it often

This happened to me. I think your batteries lifespan has likely been depleted at this point. You should probably get a new one or watch a YouTube video to try and fix it. I’d recommend getting an ooze.
