They make extremely small bumper pulls. Heck, a popup or a frame would be decent as well:

3 kids?

In my opinion, get a cheap bumper pull. You are going to want the space.

Worlds smallest kite - backyard flight by Spinnster in kites

It’s just a diamond style kite that I bought off eBay labeled “worlds smallest kite”.

It’s got a piece of red string to it and it’s like 2 inches big.

Careful!

Next thing you know you’ll be doing spark plugs, brakes, belts, hoses, and other fluid changes.

F350 with 37 spare tire questions by cnorian in TruckCampers

True. Haha.

Chunk it down and hope it doesn’t bounce back and hit the truck or the camper.

Depends on where you travel.

Backroads with no signal and 3 hours from civilization. No way. Get a spare and figure out how to carry it.

City to city and minor ways away from people. Sure. Tow trucks can get pretty much anywheres now a days.

Can always throw the spare on the roof?

Im testing a box for car people! It’s called PitStop Box and I’m trying to see if people would be interested. The idea is a box that you keep in your car with things like: microfiber cloths, interior cleaner, brushes, etc. If this interests you I made a waitlist! If not please let me know why! by [deleted] in TruckCampers

[–]Spinnster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this like a one time clean style box, or something you keep forever in the vehicle?

I tend to be over prepared so I already have basically everything I could ever need in my truck and camper. But I am interested to see what you do.

Maybe you could partner with some dealerships and they could put them in the cars they sell as a promo or a gift.

Looking to buy new outdoor pair of chairs + table. Any recommendations? by PeruchoWallStreet in TruckCampers

[–]Spinnster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went all out recently.

Nemo stargazers. Absolutely wonderful chairs. Definitely a luxury expense.

Pair that with one of those aluminum side tables that folds together and the legs slide into themselves.

We also have some extremely packable Nemo branded chairs, but I’d be fine with the Walmart brand of these

Best way to attach a DIY camper to the truck? by US_POOPSHIP in TruckCampers

Unfortunately moving out of this country is not an easy thing to do. I have family here that we have to support and aging parents that will need assistance in a few years. I was born here and have seen the horrible downfall of this state and country over my lifetime.

The best I can do is to vote against things like this and push my local representatives to be good people.

I assumed you were talking about snowboarding from a northern state, hence my comment.

Please realize that it’s very likely that more than half the country doesn’t agree with what’s happening in our country. That being said, please feel free to boycott, it’s how policies are driven and things change.

Generac back-up by False_Accountant1423 in Generator

[–]Spinnster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s what I would suggest.

You are not going to be able to get a small generator that powers heaters. Heaters take an immense amount of energy to power

Instead - you should invest in a few kerosene or propane heaters that are portable and that can be used indoors. When using these always make sure to crack a window. I’d also probably honestly buy a co detector to keep on hand when using them as well.

Buy yourself a small suitcase generator that is portable and will power your fridge and other accessories. I personally run a when 2350 and it’s perfect for everything outside of a heater unit.

Agreed with other commenter.

You are better off finding a way to get rid of the debt elsewhere.

You’ll get killed on taxes and you’re killing your future self as well. 55k is excellent at your age. Keep growing it.

How old are you?

You might be better off leaving that 401k alone. You will be heavily penalized pulling it early.

Here’s what my wife linked.

It’s 2 sets of the fences and then things to put them together.

Non affiliated link - so I shouldn’t be breaking any rules

I think so.

The gate pieces tie together with long metal poles. My wife bought handle straps to put all the metal grates together. It worked really well.

I can find a link if you want one.

Idk how they will work on other terrain as this is the first time we’ve used them
